Siva Mantra/சிவ மந்திரம்

The word “WORLD” practically means the earth on which we live. When the earth rotates on its own axis, it creates a sound which is called as pranava sound otherwise called as ‘OM’.  Along with this natural sound, if we chant ‘OM’, all the waves of our thoughts and prayers get strengthened and we can see things happening in our life to be more favourable to us.

For instance when there is a heavy gush of water like floods, many big trees fall where as the small plants here and there, bend to the force of the water, but finally remains sturdy in its place. So also the mantra ‘OM’ when chanted will travel along the pranava wave (which is nature, the cosmic energy) and fulfil our prayers.

The magic mantra ‘OM’ is the easy way to get our desires fulfilled. Rev. Father Sadhu Chellappa had written that the ‘OM’ mantra belongs to Christianity and the same is chanted as ‘Amen’, especially in Wastern Countries.

Maha Vishnu, the protector of this world has shanku and charka in his hands. Thus the protected world moves with sound and light. Mantras, in other words the sound waves are considered as the main protection shield for man. Whenever this holy mantra is chanted, a circle of sound is formed around us and ultimately protects us. The world is operated with 51 sound waves, which reminds us of the 51 Atcharas on lord Natraja’s body.

If a mantra has to work that is to give a favourable result, we have to chant the mantra for a lakh time. This may be done by changing daily for a certain number of times(for E.g. 1008 time per day) till it is completed for one lakh times. While chanting the power of this gets deposited on the right toe and moves in a clock wise to the left toe and a positive energy circle get stored in the body(The sacred mantra gets deposited in the blood cells of all our parts of the body).

As and when required, on chanting this mantra once give us positive results. To obtain best results the mantra should be chanted by sitting on a piece of wood, carpet or tiger skin. It is more effective when chanted on a terrace, or on mountain, or near a river bank. The higher we are above the earths level, the more effective will be the result. After chanting the mantra we should drink some milk or plain water so that the mantra waves will merge in our body.

Of all the mantra, Siva mantra is the best. There are different methods to chant mantra. When one needs money and happiness in materialistic life he should chant Namahsivaya and if one needs nothing but only God’s grace he should chant Sivayanama.

After deep analysis and research my Guruji Shri Mystic Selvam found that OM SIVA SIVA OM is the best mantra. It is not required for a person to get deeksha from his Guruji to chant this mantra. All that is required is to be a pure vegetarian. Chant this OM SIVA SIVA OM daily 108 times morning and evening. All the five elements are in this mantra (i.e water, fire, earth, air and sky).

This mantra will help us when we are in trouble. My Guruji has spread this message to many people. Once two friends, after finishing their business work, were at a railway station to go back to Chennai. It was 10:50 pm and nothing was available for their dinner in that station. They boarded the train and went to their respective upper berth. But they were very hungry and restless. Suddenly the mantra taught by our Guruji flashed in their mind and they began to chant OM SIVA SIVA OM.

After 20 minutes a man sleeping in the lower berth got up and took a plantain and peeled it when he was about to eat, to his surprise he saw a man sitting on upper berth and watching his. Keeping the fruit in his hand he asked him if he wanted it. The man on upper berth nodded his hand and got 4 plantains and shared them with his friend and drank some water and thanked the Guruji for teaching him the mantra OM SIVA SIVA OM.

To get a problem solved, chant this in a Siva temple.

  • To get a Job or to get rid of  an office problem chant this on Sundays.
  • To get a good life partner chant this on Mondays.
  • To get rid of disease chant this on Tuesdays.
  • To get high rank in education chant this on Wednesday.
  • To get money chant this on Friday.
  • To get rid or conjuring, black magic, casting eyes chant this on Saturdays.

“OM SIVA SIVA OM”

Vyadipada Yogam

We are all only aware of yoga´s called AmirthaYoga, Sidhayoga, and Marana Yoga. Every panchangam ( ) contains a separate column for “yoga” of the day. There are 27 Yogas, out of which “Vyadipada Yoga” is one of the most important Yoga. It a male child born in this Yoga the family will experience utter poverty and if a female child is born ,along with poverty the family will experience lot of myseries.

These aspect is clearly stated in the ancient books named as “Suriya Siddhandam “,”Sidantha sironmani” and “Karma Kuthilam”.Rituals like athmashanthi prayers to forefathers, Meditation, Jebahomas will yield good effective results. Feeding the poor on this Vyadhipada day will fetch wealth and happiness in the family. Having bath in sacred river and performing pooja and abishegam to deities will bring prosperity.

The Vyadipadaday that comes during winter season December is called “Maha Vyadipadam” Taking bath in sacred river and performing Thilahomam (athma shanthi prayer) on these days one can erase all his sin and overcome obstacles in life.

Athma shanthi prayer will give relief to the soul of our forefather and get their blessings.Readers are requested not to do any auspicious ceremonies on this vyadipada day and also to refrain from hair cutting, shaving, taking non – vegetarian food and also having sexual relations ship.

If a child is born in “yadipada Yoga”, however rich the family may be with all Raja Yogas in their horoscopes, the family will have sudden fall in their financial stability and all their Prayers and homam will not support them. This Vyadipada Yoga purely relates to appeasing the fore father soul. The best remedy to overcome the Vyadipada Yoga is as follows as described in the ancient book named Tamirabaranimahatmiyam”. The river Thamirabarani passes through a village called SERANMAHADEVI 20km away from Tirunelveli town in South India. On the bank of the river at this village Lord Perumal, Temple, Shiva, and Krishnan Temples are situated. The native performing rituals on the Vyadipathaday should refrain from hair cutting, shaving their beard, eating non- vegetarian food and having sexual intimacy from the previous day and be on fasting.

On the Vyadipatha day the native has to dip nine times in the river and have bath and perform Tharpana Pooja (i.e. Pooja offered to forefathers) standing in the river and again dip in the river for 21 times and give appropriate dakshana (fees/payment) to the prohit and leave the wet cloth which he was wearing at the bank of the river. After this Saivaits should perform abishegam to Lord Shiva and Vaishnavits to Lord Perumal. And offer food to the needy at this place. After performing this pooja, on returning back home they should perform Ganapathy Homam and Miruthanja Homam.

If the above said remedy is done correctly one will come out of the bad effect of VYADIPADA YOGA and lead a good peaceful life. The same effect as for Vyadipada yoga is for a child born in VYDIRUDHI YOGA ALSO. During my research I have come across many families (even after performing many homams and archana and abishegam and other rituals to God and Goddess were suffering for several years and some of them though they have huge property could not enjoy it and were in poverty. This made me to analyze their horoscope and finally I succeeded and found that the child born in their family had vyadipada yogam. The horoscope has to be scrutinized carefully in all angles. I f one performs the rituals on vyadipada day at river Tamirabarani and offer Tharpanam and poor feeding he will get the blessings of the forefathers and lead a peaceful life and enjoy the good and the entitled benefits as per his horoscope.

Jeeva Samadhi

Astrological implications are guidance to day-to-day life. But salvation or Parikaram protects the people from the problems. Anyhow each and every individual should have the endurance because anecdotes and incidents are not possible to prevent. If we happen to come across such crisis we should be pious.

All planets have their own power and period. Generally people are afraid upon the Saturn planet (Saneeswara). The astrologers say Saturn planet gives knowledge, wisdom through several hurdles. But most of the people are suffering at the time of Aarthastama Sani. (Saturn planet situated in the 8th place from the lagna) and Saturn´s movement through the 12th, 1st and 2nd houses from the position of Chandra in a natives chart is called 71/2 sani period. During this period of time people pray to Lord Saneeswarar by offering a lamp lit with gingely oil and perform archana. But it will not reduce the impact of Saneeswarar´s power.

The state of self-realisation denotes divinity. But siddha yogis understand about themselves and about the universe. Yogis dedicated themselves for the sake of the humanity. After the worldly life yogis laid rest in the Jeeva Samadhi and give blessings to the future generations.

The Siddha Yogis conquered mortal life. On the view of the siddha yogis this universe is not separated from thyself. Their soul is mingled with the cosmic force.

If we worship the siddha yogis sincerely and promptly we will get all the benefits. If we visit the Jeeva Samaddhi periodically and worship with ghee lamp, different types of fruits placed before the Jeeva Samadhi and do meditation intensively; problems faced by us due to Saneeswaras impact will be reduced.

Around 49 Jeeva Samadhis are situated in and around Chennai City. People should find out Jeeva Samadhi for their worship and reduce problem in life.

There is an important Jeeva Samadhi, which is situated at Palani near the women´s college. Sri Eswara Bhakta Jeeva Samadhi is known title of the Jeeva Samadhi. Those who are suffering from loss of business, financial crisis and impact of Sanigiraha, should select the new moon day or full moon day and stay there over night and pray to the sage to over come problems.

Annai Varahi

Sakthi has many Avatars. One among her avatars is VARAHI. This goddess is one among the sapthakannikas. Goddess Varahi is motherhood in nature and embodiment of patience. Her other name is “Dhandhini”. Panchami thithi is the apt day for worshipping her (5th day from full moon day and new moon day). She is also the commander in chief of cavalry force of Goddess Sri Rajarajeswari. In this avatar her appearance is that of pig head with human physique. Lion, Tiger, Buffalo and running white horse are the vahanas of Varahi. If people chant the name Varahi any fear from their mind will disappear.

Sri Varahi on a white horse, sis called as ASHVARUDA VARAHI and when she rides on a buffalo vahana, she is known as MAHISHARUDAR. Actually there is no temple for this goddess, but this goddess occupies only a small corner of the temple. But few hundred years ago a separate temple was constructed for Varahi at Pallur. Pallur is situated on the highway between kanchipuram and Arakonam of Tamil Nadu. This Pallur is 2km away from Thirumalgate railway station.

An important anecdote about this place is about Parasurama. Parasurama conducted a special Pooja to Lord Shiva on the banks of Virathasira River. After this Pooja Parasurama received the powerful “Parasayudham” a special type of weapon from Lord Shiva. Avvaiyar, the great Tamil poetess about this holy place, composed several songs.

The Varahi temple is situated at the centre of the Pallur village. The main entrance of the temple (RajaGopuram) faces south. The deity is also facing the South. Varahi is the main deity of this temple. At Pallur, Varahi is named as Sri Arasalai Amman. The special feature of the temple is that, the main in entrance of the temple is facing south. In my 22 years of research I have found that a temple facing towards South is a place for salvation (Parikarasthalam).

In this juncture I would like to tell you about a true story, it is about 2 year´s old baby who fell in the pond. The child was unable to breathe. As there was no proper health center and medical practitioner in Pallur Village it was very difficult to save the life of the child. In such a critical situation the child was placed before goddess Varahi. The parents wept and pleaded to goddess to save their child. At once a white pig entered the temple and smelled the child and went off. A few minutes later the child opened its eyes and began to see around the place. The child is still alive and can be seen in the village.

Tuesday is the suitable day for worshipping Varahi with pomegranate fruit and red oleander flowers. If we offer this Pooja to goddess Varahi obstacles in marriage will be removed.

People in Pallur village, with the help of Vaarahi religious Association provide special poojas to Varahi on Panchamithithi, Ashtamithithi and on full moon day

Pithru Pooja

To get 100% results from the parihara pooja, it is essential to get the complete blessings of our ancestors. How do we get such blessings from our ancestors? The answer lies in pacifying the souls of our ancestors by performing a special pooja called Pithurdosha nivarthi pooja or otherwise called as ´THILAHOMAM´ or Athmashanthi pooja. This type of pooja is usually performed at Rameswaram, Kasi or at Papanasam in Tirunelveli district.

This pooja once performed will please the ancestors´ soul of the individual who do this pooja and after this if the parihara pooja is done he/she will get effective results. This pooja is a must, especially for a family in which someone had an unnatural death.

For those who cannot afford to travel and spend money for the “THILAHOMAM” can do a small remedy as give below. New moon day is an auspicious day for ancestral worship.

By the offerings and rituals conducted on New moon day, we can appease our ancestral manes. We should prepare a ball of cooked rice with gingely and offer to the manes. According to Mystic Selvam, a famous research analyst, in Hindu Vedhandha on New Moon day instead of THILAHOMAM rice cakes (Idly), with side dish as gingely and chili powder mixed in gingely oil and a few cup of water should be distributed to five penny less persons. This practice should continue for 12 New moon days. Then we will get the blessings from our ancestral manes.

After performing Thilahomam lunch should be offered to the needy and starved. Further special Yagna or Homam of particular reference to the god Sri Ganapathi and Navagrahas has to be conducted; free lunch should be offered to the poor and the downtrodden people.

Astrology

What is Astrology?

Ancient man observed the response of animals to nature´s consequences and used those observations to conduct his life. Since all species, other than human beings, have the ability to foresee natural phenomena, such as rain, storm, and earthquake they protect themselves from such occurrences. Although mankind has acquired the capability to travel into space, and reach planets and beyond, it does not have the instinct to foresee natural disasters like earthquake or tsunami.

The 9 celestial bodies and the 12 zodiac belts are responsible for governing nature, and have direct influence on life on planet Earth and affect the life of mankind. These celestial bodies (planets and nodes), while traversing the zodiac belts, emit cosmic waves continuously every second, causing a snapshot imprint in the minds and subconscious minds of every person the moment he/she is born. Consequently, every person is destined to conduct his/her life in a manner as defined by this cosmic imprint.

A pictorial representation of such an imprint is known as a birth chart or horoscope. The effects of celestial bodies on a person are predicted based on the location of the moon with respect to other celestial bodies, as determined in the birth chart. Thus, a horoscope describes a person´s basic nature, life pattern, intelligence, values, temperament, longevity, life partner´s wealth, etc.

As a person grows, the celestial bodies continue to emit cosmic waves every second, while they traverse at their predetermined pace and path. The combination of this with the one that was imprinted at the time of birth, determines the path and quality of the day-to-day activities of a person.

According to the position of these celestial bodies at any given point of time, analyzed in conjunction with their position at the time of birth, an astrologer predicts the ups and downs of a person and suggests corrective measures. The methods adopted to reduce or eliminate the negative aspects, and enhance and promote the positive aspects, are known as astrological remedies.
